Maintenance Tech II - Weekend Shift

About the role This position requires a maintenance technician to perform daily maintenance, repair, and preventative tasks on material handling equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will work flexible shifts, including the Friday – Monday shift from 4:30am to 2:30pm. Maintain and repair material handling equipment, conveyors, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting systems. Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions with minimal disruption to operations. Communicate closely with operations staff about equipment and facility issues. Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis. Examine equipment, processes, and assembly to recommend time or quality improvements. Participate in team building and maintain safe work practices, including lock‑out/tag‑out procedures. Assume additional duties as needed to support facility goals. Qualifications 2–3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience preferred. Experience with electrical, conveyor control, and material handling equipment. Knowledge of high‑speed sortation and complex integrated MHE systems. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and multitasking skills. PC proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
