Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Reconcile bank and credit card activity Assist with financial reporting and audits Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Assist with processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements Review and verify expense coding and employee reimbursements Assist with payment processing and check runs Assist with preparation and analysis of financial reports and communication of any fluctuations Support budgeting and forecasting processes Audit & Compliance Assist with internal and external audits Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Assist in developing and monitoring adherence to internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred Strong Excel, organizational, and problem‑solving skills High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Cell Phone Allowance Opportunities for growth and expanded responsibilities Supportive and team‑oriented work environment Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
