PURPOSE :

The IT Enterprise Functional Applications Analystis a member of the DoIT Enterprise Functional Applications team andprovides functional support for the Student, HCM and Financialsmodules. This position works across the DoIT technical division andfunctional departments to provide problem analysis and usersupport. Monitor and assist functional staff with the technical use ofPeopleSoft ( SIS, HCM, Financials), Oracle Student FinancialPlanning ( SFP ) and Workday ( HCM and Financials). Develop ad hocqueries for users; this includes developing queries requested byusers to meet reporting needs. Assist with the development of internal and external necessaryreports. Coordinate with users the testing of vendor delivered updatesand fixes. Submit problem functional cases to Oracle PeopleSoft forresolution. Support integration development, testing and troubleshooting.Manage ticketing queue to resolve issues timely manner withexcellent customer service. Develop and maintain documentation for functional PeopleSoftand Workday processes. Assist in customization design, prototyping, scripting, testingand any upgrades that may occur in PeopleSoft or Workdayimplementation. Work with the functional staff to develop and implement processand/or systems for improvement of business processes. Responsible for support of PeopleSoft setup tables. Providehands-on requirements gathering, analysis, and implementation ofrequested upgrades, enhancements, and changes to PeopleSoft orWorkday applications. Provide functional support of applications working directlywith modules in managing their requests; understandingtheirrequirements and translating business requirements to functionalspecifications through hands-on analysis. Coordinate functional security with modules. Develop specifications for change management control. Act as liaison between functional users and technicalteam. Assist developers with design solutions for applicationmodifications, interfaces and reports. Act as a back-up for PeopleSoft and Workday modules. Minimum Qualifications Education A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience A minimum of two (2) years working experience with PeopleSoftCampus Solutions Student modules version 9.2 is required. A minimum of two (2) years working experience with PeopleSoftquery is required. A minimum of two (2) years of progressive, responsibleexperience in the field of data processing, computer system andapplications is preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated Functional experience thatincludes process flow. Strong business analytical skill. Must have a sense of urgency and ability to handle multipletasks. Ability to solve problems quickly and completely, and documentsolutions. Ability to create queries/ SQL to troubleshoot and supportbusiness users. Possess good analytical skills, with ability to developsolutions independently, and be capable of working under limiteddirection towards predefined objectives. Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Must enjoybeing part of a team, and be a team player. Ability to facilitate communication within and betweenengineering teams. Ability to gather user requirements and translate intotechnical specifications. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to facilitate communication within and betweenengineering teams. Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student modulesrequired. Experience in creating PeopleSoft queries/ SQL required. Experience in creating Workday reporting preferred. At least one full life cycle PeopleSoft or Workdayimplementation/upgrade project completion in a functional role is preferred. Experience with BiPublisher reporting. Skill in MS Access. Technical experience in PeopleTools.
