Senior Technical Business Analyst

Leidos is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. Analyze business processes to identify, define, and document requirements. Writing complex SQL queries, joining multiple tables, and performing data transformations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals, including facilitating meetings and sharing information. Write clear, concise, and actionable user stories that accurately capture stakeholder requirements. Conduct manual testing FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications) Proficient in defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel. Experience creating test plan, test cases and test execution. Strong experience working in an Agile methodology Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI Level 3 Methodologies FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills) These skills will help you succeed in this position: **Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance** **Master's and 6+ years of experience, Bachelor's and 8+ years of experience or 12+ years in lieu of a degree** Knowledge of creating and maintaining Data Flow Diagrams and developing Use Cases. Strong communication and technical writing skills. Experience with manual testing and have good knowledge of DB, SQL and API testing. Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving. Self-managed with the ability to mentor others. Strong experience with tools to manage requirements. Skill in analyzing business processes to identify, define, and document requirements. Skill in writing complex SQL queries, joining multiple tables, and performing data transformations. Skill in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals, including facilitating meetings and sharing information. Skill in writing clear, concise, and actionable user stories that accurately capture stakeholder requirements. Ability to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors and recommend effective solutions. Ability to communicate analytical results and technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Knowledge of requirements gathering methodologies and documentation standards. HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills) Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills: Knowledge of data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy, WebFOCUS). Experience working on Federal Govt Contracts Database experience such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL and JDBC. Familiarity with project management frameworks. Previous experience with Social Security Administration. Agile certification is desired.
