Our team members bring that mission to life every day through exceptional care and meaningful connections.Qualifications of a Registered Nurse (RN): Current State of Ohio RN licenseOne or more years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applicationsWhat You'll Do:As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct nursing care and clinical leadership to residents while ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and quality care.Administer medications and treatments according to physician ordersPerform resident assessments, including vital signs, monitoring, and documentationSupervise and support State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to ensure quality resident careCoordinate resident care with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and family membersProcess physician orders, lab requests, diagnostic testing, and follow-up careComplete resident admissions, assessments, charting, and required clinical documentationAssist residents with meeting their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needsMonitor and support infection prevention and control practicesRespond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety proceduresParticipate in interdisciplinary care planning and team collaborationEnsure compliance with state regulations and nursing standardsWhy Join Genacross?At Genacross Lutheran Services, we strive to improve the lives of everyone, including our Team Members, who daily enrich the lives of our residents, patients, clients & colleagues.
