Our low-volume model allows clinicians to treat one patient at a time, ensuring exceptional care, strong outcomes, and meaningful mentorship. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in astructured mentorship role.This position is ideal for early-career Physical Therapists (1 year of previous professional experience) who are eager to develop advanced clinical skills in a high-quality outpatient orthopedic environment. This role includes a structured onboarding period focused on observation and assisted treatment, with progression to independent patient management within our one-on-one care model. Successful candidates will be promoted to a full time physical therapist with full autonomy in this concierge, high end practice model. Responsibilities Participate in and progressively lead one-on-one physical therapy treatment sessions Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on mobility, strength, pain management, injury prevention, and functional movement Progressively perform manual therapy techniques and corrective exercise programming Educate patients on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and proper movement strategies Collaborate with Physical Therapists and staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care Assist with documentation, patient progress tracking, and care coordination Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment Mentorship & Professional Development One-on-one mentorship from experienced Physical Therapists Structured onboarding and ramp-up period Gradual increase in clinical autonomy with ongoing supervision and feedback Regular case reviews and clinical reasoning discussions Paid continuing education (CEUs) Regular in-services focused on clinical skills and patient cases Exposure to a diverse orthopedic patient population Emphasis on evidence-based practice, manual therapy, corrective exercise, and health coaching Compensation & Benefits Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience Health insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance Paid time off 401(k) with employer matching Paid continuing education Job Requirements Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program Licensed in New York State Strong interest in outpatient orthopedics and manual therapy Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered mindset High level of professionalism, curiosity, and coachability Desire for mentorship and long-term clinical growth Concierge mentality and strong professionalism Early-career candidates encouraged to apply Practice Setting Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy Concierge private practice One-on-one sessions Avant-Garde Physical Therapy is an equal opportunity employer.We are committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace while delivering exceptional patient care.
