Garnet Valley School District DISTRICT WIDE - Glen Mills, Pennsylvania Open in Google Maps Technology Support Specialist This job is also posted in Garnet Valley School District Job Details Job ID: 5893219 Application Deadline: Sep 02, 2026 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time) Posted: Aug 19, 2026 4:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Sep 14, 2026 Job Description GARNET VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT VACANCY NOTICE POSITION: Technology Support Specialist-12 Month Position LOCATION:Garnet Valley Education Center QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or Above Minimum 2-3 years’ experience delivering professional development to adults Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff, vendors, parents, administration and the school community Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Ability to handle a multitude of responsibilities with minimal supervision Ability to operate and maintain a wide variety of educational/instructional technology Ability to relate to children in instructional settings JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain all building computer workstation hardware, peripherals, and other technology related equipment Troubleshoot all technology issues for the building, including computer equipment and processes, telephones, and audio-visual equipment. Generate and maintain annual technology building budgets. Work with school administration to assist in the management, reporting, and data analysis of core systems. Deliver professional development to school and district staff. Prepare and place orders as necessary to maintain appropriate levels of building technology supplies. Assist with the setup of new computer hardware and software installation. Consult with district Technology Technician, Network Administrator, Director of Technology, and building principal on technical issues.
