Tax Manager (Greater Chicago Area)
Part-time
PE Owned Multi-Site Healthcare Provider
- 100% Remote (Central Time Zone STRONGLY preferred)
- PE Backed/Fast Paced Environment
- Responsible for leading the Company’s process for ensuring compliance with required tax regulations for the U.S. and Canada
- Ensure all tax returns are filed in a timely manner
- Partner with outside tax advisors and advise internal departments regarding tax guidance
- Includes, but not limited to oversight, compliance and tracking of: Federal, State, Local and Provincial taxes
- Additional exposure to: VAT, Property, Capital Accounts, Reserves, Transfer Pricing, etc.
- Support merger and acquisition activities
- Assist with preparation of quarterly tax provision, annual returns, and all other tax returns
- Be a trusted business partner to various stakeholders within Finance and Accounting and across the company
- Ad-hoc projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- CPA or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of relative Tax experience required and will look at straight Big 4 or those with relative high growth healthcare industry experience
- Prior management experience, highly preferred.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Compensation will commensurate with level of experience.
