In order to be an authorized recruitment agency (\"search firm\") for Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP, there must be a formal written agreement in place and the agency must be invited, by Baker Tilly's Talent Attraction team, to submit candidates for review via our applicant tracking system.Job Description:Baker Tilly is currently seeking International Tax Interns for 2027.Our interns gain knowledge of the firm's tax Advisory practices through working with multiple clients across a variety of industries.International Tax Interns assist multinational clients and high net worth individuals by performing transactional and functional analysis, transfer pricing analysis, US domestic and foreign tax planning, sourcing of income and foreign credit planning, research on international tax consulting and compliance issues, and other projects as assigned.Qualifications:EducationCurrently enrolled or pursuing a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a related business discipline from an accredited institution.JD/LLM or Masters of Taxation preferredMust have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship.ExperienceNo prior professional experience is required. Previous internship, academic, leadership, volunteer, customer service, or other relevant experience and demonstrated interest in accounting, or professional services are preferred.Certifications / LicensureRequired:For accounting majors, on track to meet the educational requirements for CPA exam eligibility prior to the start of a full-time Associate position.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, now or in the future.A resume and unofficial transcript(s) are required as part of the application process.Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.Knowledge & Technical SkillsFoundational accounting knowledge developed through academic coursework.Ability to conduct basic research, analyze information, and document findings clearly and accurately.Openness to learning emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, responsibly to support learning, efficiency, and problem solving.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Professional SkillsClear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Curiosity, learning agility, and willingness to ask questions, seek guidance, and apply feedback.Effective and respectful collaboration in a team-oriented environment.Organization, time management, attention to detail, and reliability in meeting deadlines.Professionalism, integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.Commitment to quality, continuous learning, and responsive client service.Additional InformationThe pay rate ranges for this job position are listed below.
