Job Title: Mariscos Associate

Location: Retail Grocery Store

Job Description: The mariscos associate is responsible for increasing customer trust and loyalty by providing courteous and prompt service, consistent operational conditions, and a friendly atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Offer product suggestions when appropriate.
• Stock and rotate departmental products to ensure freshness and date control; restock and utilize supplies efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain the lowest supply cost. Operate department equipment and tools.
• Maintain the work area clean, orderly, and free of safety hazards; report to management about defective equipment and hazards.
• Notify management about team member theft, customer theft, unauthorized discounts, property deterioration, or any action that is illegal and/or contrary to company policy.
• Perform other job-related tasks assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same. Successful completion of drug tests and pre-employment background checks.

Preferred: High level of integrity and reliability.
