Family Health Nurse Practitioner/ Ogdensburg, NY, 6+Months Contract

Family Health Nurse Practitioner
Client is seeking a Family Health Nurse Practitioner for the Adult Inpatient area.
The position will be full time, 40 hour per week, Monday-Friday (8-4:30pm).
The position will commence as soon as possible following contract approval and award with an anticipated end date of 10/2/2024.
Candidates must be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Work with adult inpatients with back-up coverage of Children/Youth inpatients when their nurse practitioner is off duty (i.e. vacation).
Conduct admission physical exams. Assess and manage medical needs of hospitalized patients (census of 41 adults).
Order and review labs. Initiate and/or coordinate consults/referrals with outside specialists, and ER transfers when indicated.
Travel: There is no reimbursement for travel expenses or travel time. Escalation: No escalation is allowed. All prices are fixed for the term of the contract.
