We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support warehousing, transload, and transportation operations. This role is responsible for managing customer bookings, coordinating shipments from start to finish, maintaining shipping documentation, monitoring container movement, and ensuring timely communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer bookings throughout the shipment lifecycle, ensuring accurate booking information, schedule updates, and proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor vessel schedules, reconcile booking details, and respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding shipment status and changes.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Release Summaries, and other required logistics records.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and submitted in compliance with port cutoffs, customer requirements, and operational deadlines.
• Coordinate dock availability, container placement, and container movement to support daily operational priorities.
• Maintain accurate container status information within logistics systems and monitor container readiness.
• Manage the rejection and replacement process for non-conforming containers to prevent shipment delays.
• Coordinate with trucking dispatch, warehouse teams, and transportation providers to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Monitor daily container flow, shipment volume, and transportation requirements to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, freight forwarding, or shipping operations preferred.
• Knowledge of shipment documentation, Bills of Lading, container movements, and transportation processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
• Experience working with SAP, SharePoint, or similar transportation platforms is a plus.
