Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a contract role near Columbus, NC. This position is designed for those passionate about making a difference in the educational journey of young learners. You'll primarily serve a Pre-K caseload, traveling between multiple school sites and providing crucial therapy services that foster growth, independence, and classroom participation.

This assignment features an initial 12-week term with the potential for extension, allowing for both short-term impact and longer-term connections. With a manageable caseload of 33 students, and a commitment of just 1-2 days per week, you’ll be able to focus your expertise where it matters most, while enjoying the flexibility to balance other professional or personal interests.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfortable working with Pre-K age group
• Ability to travel between multiple nearby school sites (itinerant)
• Organized, flexible, and self-motivated
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• No virtual/remote (VOCO) therapy; on-site presence required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative services to Pre-K students, focusing on enhancing participation and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district standards
• Travel among assigned school sites as needed to serve caseload
