Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories.
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Contribute to intraoperative experiences, including the preparation of operating rooms, patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments.
• Provide outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education.

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations focused on surgical practice is strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state.
