What You’ll Do as an Assistant Store Manager As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers (and their furry friends!) have an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing duties. Providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with our loyal community of pet owners. Supporting and supervising team members to create a positive and productive work environment. Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store. Helping customers find the best products for their pets and sharing your knowledge about pet care. Performing physical tasks, such as lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who brings a combination of skills, experience, and enthusiasm to the role. Here’s what we’d love to see: At least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service setting. A genuine interest in animals and pet care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with customers and team members. Dependability and a proactive attitude to tackle challenges.
