Computed Tomography Technologist - Full Time

CT Technologist PositionWe're seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role at a hospital in Chico, CA where you will be responsible for accurately interpreting physician scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, and operating CT equipment. This position includes full-time flex shifts with variable 12-hour nights and rotating days off.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 1 year experience in CT preferred. Two years diagnostic x-ray experience desired.Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred. ARRT credential and fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire if not already held.Approved BLS/CPR certification.Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections. Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification desired.Experience operating CT and general diagnostic radiographic equipment and performing CT exams without direct supervision.Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation protection, radiation physics, quality assurance, and CT-specific protocols.Demonstrated communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.Willingness to support departmental policies, standards of ethics, and service excellence mission.Benefits:Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available for new grads and experienced candidates.Full-time benefits as provided by the hospital employer.Opportunity for advanced certifications and professional development.Location HighlightsChico offers abundant outdoor recreation, a vibrant downtown, and a mild Mediterranean climate.
