Packout Associate

The Production/Packing Specialist is responsible for picking and packing inventory based on orders, managing inventory, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and other duties as assigned. This position is Monday through Friday from 7am-4:30pm . Some additional hours may be required. Starting pay will be $17.95. The ideal candidate has the flexibility to work the required hours, can physically perform the requirements of this position, and has the attention to detail to meet Dempsey standards.


Responsibilities

• Quickly and accurately picks and packs inventory to match customer orders
• Helps with inventory control
• Maintains a clean environment, organizes products, and appropriately disposes of waste/trash
• Performs all assigned duties in a safe fashion and in accordance with OSHA standards and directives
• Reports any unsafe conditions or practices to management in a prompt fashion
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment checks (including background check and drug test)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
• Must have a highly reliable work/school performance record
• Must have reliable transportation in order to report to work as scheduled
