Temporary Bookkeeper

Our client is looking for a temporary Bookkeeper to help out until they hire for the position long-term. They are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable accounting professional to support daily financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of bookkeeping, accounts payable, purchasing, and administrative accounting responsibilities while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable transactions
• Prepare and reconcile weekly deposits
• Review and process mileage reimbursement reports
• Coordinate purchasing activities, including office supplies and program-related purchases
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support the Finance Manager with accounting and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
• Knowledge of governmental accounting principles preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
