At Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and and medication assisted treatment team to provide support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission:

As a Mental Health Qualified Profession on the team, is to provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments, develop with the client treatment goal and person centered plans, treatment, after-care, and referral services to adults/children in need of outpatient treatment. To provide stabilization and treatment services to mental health and substance abusing clients.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $18.00 - $24.00 / Hour.
• Generous paid time off and paid holidays.

What We’re Looking For:

•   Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field along with working with population served.

  • Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification: LCASA, CADC or AP/CPSS preferred.

    • Dual licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy. 
• Experience with the Mental Health and/or Substance Use population.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
