Step into a dynamic educational setting supporting elementary-aged students as a School Psychologist in a contract, W-2 position. This in-person role offers the chance to make a profound difference, Monday through Friday, within a dedicated team focused on student growth and achievement.
Bring your expertise in psychological assessment and intervention to guide students toward success and well-being. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong consultation and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Expertise in assessment, progress monitoring, and intervention planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school personnel to develop effective instructional strategies
- Support creation and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Consult with families to foster inclusive, supportive educational experiences
- Deliver individual and group counseling services as needed
- Participate in problem-solving meetings and staff development activities
