As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access points, verify credentials, monitor site activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting the flow of operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.28 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with employees, drivers, visitors, and site leadership regarding access requirements, deliveries, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
