Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Responsibilities Provide outpatient behavioral health counseling for children, adolescents, and adults ages 5 and older. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches. Complete behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and ongoing care coordination. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teams. Respond appropriately to crisis situations while maintaining high standards of clinical care. Utilize the organization's electronic health record to document patient care accurately. Requirements Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York. Ability to provide individual, family, and group counseling. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working within an interdisciplinary treatment team. Experience documenting within an electronic health record. Ability to respond appropriately during behavioral health crises. Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered behavioral health care.
