Job Duties Start Date: 03/15/2026 End Date: 11/15/2026 Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day, 6:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. The start and end of the workday depend on crop and weather conditions, which means work may begin or end earlier or later than usual. Evening and/or night hours may be required. Possible weekend/holiday work. Must Apply By: 07/16/2026 Job duties may include assisting with daily farm operations, including but not limited to: operating various farm equipment such as combines, tractors, and farm trucks for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting crops. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of machinery, pressure washing of equipment, and upkeep of farm buildings. Maintain and operate flood and sprinkler irrigation systems. Handle grain and assist with hauling farm commodities. Maintain farm grounds, including mowing and general cleanup. Assist with care of farm animals and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position involves manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and working long hours in varying weather conditions, including heat. On rainy days, work is typically performed in the shop repairing and servicing equipment and preparing for upcoming field operations. Duties also include other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as defined under SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). A positive test result or refusal to comply with testing requirements may result in immediate termination of employment. Minimum Education Required No High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum Experience Required Worker must be at least 18 years of age. Worker must be able to speak and understand English. Worker must be able to obtain a valid driver's license within 2 weeks of hire and maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles. Worker must be able to exert maximum physical strength to lift, push, pull, unload, and carry objects weighing up to 80 pounds, with two-person assistance as needed. The position requires the ability to climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, and squat for extended periods. Worker must be able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
