Physical Therapist – New Hyde Park, NY

Full-Time | $50–$55 per Hour or $100,000–$120,000 Annually, Based on Experience

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a fixed weekday schedule:

• Monday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekends

Each shift includes a 30-minute break. Part-time and partial-day schedules are not currently available.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join an established outpatient pain-management practice in New Hyde Park, New York.

This position offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one musculoskeletal care within a collaborative, physician-owned practice. The office includes physical therapy, acupuncture, and interventional pain-management services, creating a consistent internal referral base and a coordinated approach to patient care.

The practice is adding a second Physical Therapist to divide the existing caseload and support continued growth. New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are both welcome to apply.

Patient Care Model

• 100% outpatient setting
• One-on-one patient care
• Primarily adult and geriatric patients between the ages of 30 and 80
• Musculoskeletal conditions, including joint pain, lower-back pain, and neck pain
• Target caseload of approximately 25 patients per therapist each day
• Strong internal referrals from the pain-management physician
• Clinician-led treatment decisions without micromanagement
• Support from a Physical Therapy aide and front-office team

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other evidence-based treatments
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients regarding their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with the referring physician and other members of the care team
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapy aide and front-office staff to maintain an organized patient flow
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented clinical environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active New York Physical Therapist license
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a structured, high-volume outpatient environment
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach to patient care

No minimum level of experience or specialty certification is required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation will be structured based on experience and final employment terms:

• Hourly compensation: $50–$55 per hour
• Potential salaried compensation: $100,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience
• Opportunities for future raises and discretionary bonuses based on performance and patient-volume goals
• 10 paid days off after completing the 90-day introductory period
• PTO may be used for vacation, personal, or sick time
• Six paid federal holidays
• 401(k) eligibility after one year

The current team includes a Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy aide, and two front-office team members. This new position offers significant room for professional growth as the Physical Therapy department and patient base continue to expand.
