Surgery Scheduler

Monthly $43 stipend to use toward ancillary benefits HSA with qualifying HDHP plans with company match 401k plan after 6 months of service with company match (Part-time employees included) Employee Assistance Program that is available 24/7 to provide support Employee Appreciation Days Employee Wellness Events Minimum Qualifications: 1yearmedical office scheduling or 1-2 years administration experienceor clinical experience (CNA, MA, EMT), preferably in an orthopedic setting. Essential Functions Schedules surgeries within established timelines and creates all related pre- and post-operative appointments. Establishes interdepartmental communication to ensuretimelyandaccuratescheduling Maintains precise, organized records within the EMR and practice-management systems Clearly communicates all clinical and surgical process instructions to patients. Ensuresall systems and teams are updated with any edited, cancelled, or rescheduled cases Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Mustcommunicateprofessionallyand effectivelywith physicians, patients, andinternal departments Adhere toestablishedscheduling timelines. Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks. Demonstrate attention to detail with strong follow-throughand ability tomaintainaccuraterecords and documentation. KNOWLEDGE Familiarity with medical terminology,theinsurance authorization process, and EMR systems is preferable EDUCATION High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
