Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient care functions in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies and procedures
• Deliver direct patient care on a Surgical/Orthopedic unit under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses
• Adapt to flexible scheduling requirements as needed to meet unit staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Telemetry experience
• MOAB or CPI certification
