Job Description
The Cloud Engineer will work closely with software developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and operations teams to build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps methodologies, and secure systems administration.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and operations teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize AWS CloudFormation, AWS S3, and other AWS services to build scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Ensure systems comply with CMMC hardening requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
• Leverage logging and networking experience to optimize cloud services.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with AWS cloud technologies, including AWS CloudFormation and AWS S3.
• Experience with CI/CD processes using Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in secure systems administration and CMMC hardening.
• Ability to document processes and systems effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AWS certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.

Work Environment
The position is fully onsite in northern COS, offering a long-term opportunity with a growing company. The role requires working closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
