Mattress Home is a fast-growing, family-owned mattress retailer serving the Suncoast of Florida. We take pride in delivering a clean, professional, and high-quality experience from our warehouse to our customers homes.

We are hiring a Delivery Driver Assistant to join our delivery team full-time.

This is a hands-on, physically active position with a clear growth path into a Lead Delivery Driver role.

The Role

You will work inside the delivery truck 5 days per week, assisting our Lead Driver with:
Loading and staging deliveries
Navigating delivery routes
Delivering mattresses and adjustable bases into customers homes
Setting up products safely and professionally
Removing old bedding (when eligible)
Maintaining truck cleanliness and organization

This role requires professionalism, energy, and strong teamwork.

You will also drive the truck approximately one day per week, so a valid drivers license and safe driving skills are required.

Compensation
$18 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
Typical schedule: 810 hour days
4050 hours per week depending on season and volume

This is a full-time position with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily route deliveries
Safely lift and maneuver mattresses (up to 150 lbs with assistance)
Provide clean, respectful in-home service
Support setup of adjustable bases and furniture
Learn route management and delivery procedures
Maintain a clean and professional truck
Communicate effectively with Lead Driver and Warehouse Team

What Were Looking For
Valid drivers license
Comfortable driving a 2026 ft box truck
Physically capable of lifting up to 150 lbs (with team assistance)
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Dependable and punctual
Strong team player
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

This is not a ride-along position.
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced delivery role.
