TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78412!

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ALS, PALS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in Emergency Department settings. Description: The Emergency Department operates 24/7. The unit has 6 rooms and 4 vertical beds. There are 10 full-time equivalents (FTE) and 4 PRN staff members. Day shift consists of 3 RNs including a charge nurse and 1 paramedic. The night shift includes 3 RNs including a charge nurse. Patient ratios are 3 to 4 patients per nurse. Common equipment includes a vital sign machine, BiPAP, vent, nebulizer, ortho glass, and AED. The EMR system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed in this unit include IV blood draws, EKGs, Foley catheterizations, ortho splints, and wound care. Teamwork is essential in this environment. Candidates lacking the required skills will not be considered for this role. Preferred candidates will exhibit skills aligned with emergency department practices. Weekend availability is required.
