We are a family practice providing primary care services. Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front office operations. This role requires a blend of administrative skills and medical knowledge to ensure smooth patient flow and effective office management. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times. Handle medical collections and process payments accurately. Maintain patient records, ensuring documentation review is thorough and compliant with regulations. Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record systems for patient management. Provide support in office management tasks, including inventory control and supply ordering. Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Assist bilingual patients by providing translation services when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical receptionist role or similar position is preferred. Proficiency in medical collection processes and documentation review is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Familiarity with office management practices and procedures. Experience using eClinicalWorks electronic health record systems is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
