Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing specialized care for high-risk and low-risk antepartum, intra-partum pregnant women, and postpartum patients within a Level 3 Trauma Center. The role requires handling a variety of clinical responsibilities on a night shift schedule, supporting optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0730, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Washington state licensure, BLS, NRP, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), CPR certifications; minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience; ability to support on postpartum and NICU units as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FSE, IUPC, IV starts, circulating C-sections, and knowledge of GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system and Philips EFM/telemetry
• Support on the Unit: No CNAs; obstetric scrub staff and RN charge nurses available 24/7; support staff including RT with NICU experience, hospitalist for labor, and telemetry monitoring
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical records, Baxter IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing system, GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system, Philips EFM/telemetry system
• Orientation: Typically 2-3 shifts based on RN competency and comfort
• Additional Information: Scrub uniforms are provided in dark blue; designated free parking areas available; holiday work possible; must follow American Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) guidelines
