We’re looking for a skilled problem-solver with experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to join our team and keep operations running safely and efficiently! APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Lancaster, OH looking to add Maintenance Technicians to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Keep reading for more details! • Competitive hourly rate between $35-$40/hr. depending on experience

What your day will look like: - Read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics, one-line diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems, including pumps, conveyors, hoists, motors, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures, replace components, test repairs, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Perform electrical maintenance, including wiring, conduit installation, motor wiring, outlets, and approved equipment modifications.
• Lead or assist with welding, fabrication, piping, tubing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance projects.
• Maintain and lubricate machinery, tools, and material-handling equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Provide technical recommendations for equipment purchases, designs, installations, and modifications.
• Perform required safety and facility inspections, including eyewash stations, emergency lighting, decontamination systems, and CO₂ detectors.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance teams and management regarding equipment issues, repairs, and priorities.

What we are looking for: - High school diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Working knowledge of and troubleshooting experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other computer-based systems.
• Knowledge of company safety policies, OSHA regulations, departmental procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Ability to safely work at heights, including the use of ladders and aerial lifts.
• Ability to safely work in confined spaces.
