Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. They perform procedures such as ventilator management, airway management, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulmonary diagnostics. The therapist educates patients and supports staff development, ensuring quality, safe, and evidence-based care while fostering a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care with a focus on complex cases Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate treatment Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures Educate patients, families, and new staff members Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and compliance Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills Ability to establish effective working relationships with healthcare professionals #J-18808-Ljbffr
