This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with contractors and homeowners, identifying customer needs, and providing solutions through our wide range of building materials.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referralsBuild and maintain relationships with general contractors, builders, and homeownersProvide expert advice and product knowledge to assist customers in selecting appropriate materialsEstimate material quantities and develop accurate project bids based on construction drawingsCollaborate with management to develop pricing strategies that drive profitability and growthEnsure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales processMaintain a high level of product knowledge across framing lumber, windows, doors, and specialty materialsQualificationsExperience in building materials sales or related industry requiredAbility to read and interpret architectural and construction plansProven track record in sales with strong negotiation and communication skillsHighly organized with strong problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated with a high degree of integrity and professionalismValid Driver's License and ability to be covered under company insurance policy. Apply TodayIf you meet the qualifications and are ready to contribute to a respected, long-standing company, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Herrman Lumber team.Pre-Employment Drug Screen - including marijuana
