Experience in Geriatric Psychiatric Nursing required. Strong experience working with geriatric patients in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting. Highly skilled in de-escalation techniques and managing challenging behavioral situations. Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care to geriatric psychiatric patients. Assess patients, administer medications, monitor responses, and document patient conditions appropriately. Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team. Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and follow facility policies and behavioral health protocols.
