Responsibilities Vehicle Preparation: Once the greeter has greeted the customer, prep the vehicle immediately to ensure a smooth workflow. Vehicle Movement: Move vehicles to the front of the service drive to maintain an organized area. Key control is paramount. Vehicle Relocation: Move service vehicles to designated locations (detail, service lot, shop, or tinting area). Record the spot number and place the key in its proper location. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained while in our care and practice safe driving techniques. Vehicle Delivery: When the customer arrives for pick-up, ensure the vehicle is clean, free of indicator lights, and that the radio and climate controls are set appropriately. Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership. Ways to Shine Move with Urgency: Move quickly when not operating behind the wheel, and practice safe driving at all times. Safe Driving: Adhere to safe driving rules learned during safety huddles. Stay Present: Remain focused and attentive while operating customer cars. Ask for Help: Don't hesitate to seek assistance when needed. Learn and Adapt: Continuously seek to understand your site and its operations to become more efficient. Skills Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrates a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers, ensuring a positive service experience. Attention to Detail: Meticulously checks and maintains the quality and cleanliness of vehicles, ensuring no detail is overlooked. Reliability: Consistently shows up on time and performs duties responsibly, ensuring the smooth operation of the service drive. Physical Stamina: Capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. Safe Driving Skills: Practices safe and courteous driving techniques while moving and positioning vehicles. Adaptability: Quickly adjusts to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in handling various tasks and responsibilities. Team Player: Collaborates effectively with colleagues and supports the team in achieving common goals. Professionalism: Maintains a neat and professional appearance and conducts oneself in a professional manner. Communication Skills: Effectively communicates with customers and team members, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. Problem-Solving Ability: Quickly identifies and resolves issues that may arise during the vehicle service process. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is required. Valid Driver's License: Necessary for moving and positioning vehicles safely and legally. Age Requirement: 18 years or older. Previous Experience: Experience in a similar role can be advantageous but is not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
