This is a great opportunity for an attorney who enjoys the technical side of litigation but does not necessarily want to be in a traditional litigation role. The position is highly drafting, review and process-focused, with an emphasis on class action settlements, settlement agreements, court approval documents and settlement administration. The firm is looking for someone who is meticulous, organised and confident reviewing complex documents. This could suit an attorney with post-settlement experience, class action experience, employment litigation experience, or even a transactional / entertainment background where redlining, contract review and attention to detail have been central to the role. You will: Draft, review, redline and revise class action settlement agreements Prepare motions for court approval of class action settlements Work closely with class action administrators throughout the settlement process Review and refine class notices, claim forms and related settlement documents Ensure settlement documents are clear, accurate and compliant Monitor settlement administration and deadlines Coordinate with internal attorneys, administrators and relevant parties Help ensure post-settlement procedures are handled efficiently and accurately Compensation: $140,000-$200,000 total compensation, commensurate with experience What they're looking for: California Bar admission in good standing 2+ years' legal experience Strong attention to detail Experience with class action settlements preferred Employment law or class action litigation experience helpful Strong drafting, redlining and document review skills Comfortable working with settlement agreements, notices, claim forms and court approval documents Best suited to someone who does not want a traditional litigation-heavy position Relevant backgrounds could include: Plaintiff employment class action Wage and hour / PAGA Post-settlement administration Contract drafting / transactional work Entertainment or business affairs-style legal work involving heavy redlining and document review #J-18808-Ljbffr We Are Legal Revolution
