1st Shift Powder Coater

A fast-paced manufacturing team in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join its Coatings department. In this role, you will apply powder coatings to products using specialized spraying apparatuses while hitting precise mil ranges and strictly adhering to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work under the direction of the department Lead or Supervisor to assist with daily shop operations.

• Apply powder coatings to achieve required mil ranges per powder or customer specifications.

• Clean, maintain, and care for powder coating guns and related equipment.

• Continually maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.

• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all shop safety procedures.

• Perform other related shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of powder coating or qualifying experience preferred.

• Industry Background: Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.

• Reliability: Demonstrated track record of punctual and dependable work performance.

• Work Ethic: High energy, solution-focused mindset, and strong attention to detail with a quality-centered attitude

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
