We are looking for a fulltime and PRN PTAs Boerne/ Hill Country area to provide coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist in the home as prescribed by the attending Provider. Educational Requirements graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Licensing/Certification/Registration Requirements current PTA license issued by the State of Texas and current CPR Attributes strong interpersonal communication skills self-direction with a strong sense of team commitment ability to accept assigned duties and work in a cooperative manner excellent verbal and written communication/documentation skills Physical Requirements able to see/hear/speak sufficiently to participate in written/verbal communication able to deal effectively with stress able to use fine motor skills for patient assessment able to stand, sit, bend, stoop, push, pull, and heavy lifting able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to prospective patient’s residences Responsibilities administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water and electrical modalities to patients applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payors, through education, coaching, and other assistance as necessary must have a reliable means of transportation, proof of financial responsibility (car insurance and a valid state driver’s license) Job Types fulltime PRN Medical Specialties Geriatrics Home Health Schedule Monday to Friday on call weekend availability Supplemental Pay Types differential pay Experience/Skills Requirements preferred one year of supervised work experience Work Location multiple locations most of the work is performed in and traveling to and from the patients' residences Job Type Part-time Pay $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours 30- 40 per week Fulltime 8-30 per week PRN Benefits Flexible schedule Medical Specialty Home Health License/Certification CPR Certification (Required) Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required) Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Crest Home Health
