HVAC Mechanical Designer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support the design and development of industrial and facility systems, the full-time contract HVAC Mechanical Designer will develop mechanical system designs, prepare project deliverables, and ensure compliance with applicable codes while working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Develop and coordinate mechanical system designs, layouts, and equipment arrangements for industrial and facility projects Prepare project deliverables including 3D models, plans, details, and construction documents Perform code research and participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Computer Drafting & Design or related work experience Minimum of 5 years of work experience in building mechanical design systems Extensive modeling and drafting experience using Revit and AutoCAD Strong working knowledge of relevant codes and standards Deep knowledge of HVAC and related mechanical systems
