Position is for a CT Tech. Start date is ASAP. Shifts are three 12-hour night shifts. Length of the contract is 13 weeks. A minimum of one year of experience is required. First-timers are accepted. Weekend work is required. On-call duties are not required. The traveler will not need to float between like units. Block schedule accommodations are not available at this time. Pending licenses are accepted. All requests for time off must be included with submittal. The department is busy and has an excellent team. Duties will include emergency room and inpatient scans. The facility is a designated stroke center. The patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Skills required include abdomen scans without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, biopsies, brain perfusion, chest scans without and/or with contrast, drainage, emergency department procedures, head scans without and/or with contrast, lumbar scans, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvic scans without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, thoracic, vascular CTA. References covering one year within the last three years are required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Communication devices needed to perform duties will be supplied by the client at no cost. Employees are responsible for submitting their cell phone bills directly. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule or requests for time off may lead to termination of the contract.
