Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper sterilization and management of medical instruments and supplies. This role requires a strong background in sterile processing and an active certification.

Shift Details

• Days: Wednesday to Sunday
• Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Variable weekend call required

Responsibilities

• Ensure all surgical instruments and tools are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored.
• Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Float to Endoscopy or Sterile Processing Department as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic and Censitrac.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• Active CRCST certification required; must be on file.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided by the facility. The role includes on-call shifts during weekends, requiring a 30-minute callback time.
