Cashier

Pay: varies by location. Location: Surprise, Arizona Summary A Cashier at American Dining Creations will provide outstanding customer service while processing sales transactions and assisting guests. This position requires an organized, detail‑oriented, and personable individual who can manage point‑of‑sale operations, restock merchandise, and contribute to an engaging and welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, courteous, and passionate about both hospitality and cultural engagement. Responsibilities Greet guests and assist by providing product information and recommendations. Operate the POS system to ring up transactions quickly and accurately, including cash, debit, credit, and mobile payments. Maintain product and menu knowledge, providing recommendations and upselling when possible. Balance the POS system and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift. Restock, merchandise, and maintain displays to ensure an organized, visually appealing environment. Unpack, price, and stock new inventory shipments. Assist with inventory counts, sales reporting, and reorder recommendations for merchandise and supplies. Support the creation of themed and seasonal displays. Support dining team with preparation, catering, and delivery as needed. Maintain complete cleanliness and organization of the service areas, displays, and all ADC work areas. Provide feedback to the operations team regarding customer preferences and sales trends. Ensure all policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed. Perform all other duties as assigned, including assisting with special events and guest engagement activities as needed. Qualifications Prior cashier or retail experience in a cultural or hospitality environment preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, guest‑centered environment. Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with POS systems. Creative eye for merchandising and presentation. Ability to lift 30 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform light physical tasks related to stocking, display and catering setup, and sanitation duties.
