Your impact Municipalities and water‑wastewater utilities in the Silver Spring, MD area have embarked on the implementation of various plans and projects to significantly improve water quality and reduce wet‑weather sewer overflows into local rivers and streams. Here’s what you’ll need A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience Experience delivering water, wastewater, and stormwater projects Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field Engineer in Training (EIT) registration Strong oral and written communication skills Self‑motivation and team‑oriented work practices Analytical and technical problem‑solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Interest in assisting with occasional site visits and field work to support projects Ideally, Here’s What You’ll Also Have Master’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering PE license or ability to obtain one within 2 years Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
