Senior Application DeveloperCorpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Application Developer within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business based in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting high-volume financial applications that are critical to transaction processing and business operations. This role requires a senior-level developer who can work independently, lead complex application development efforts, guide coding logic, support legacy and enterprise systems, and partner closely with technical and business stakeholders.You will report directly to the VP, Compliance and regularly collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Operations, Infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.As a Senior Application Developer, you will work in a virtual environment.Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Company-issued equipmentFormal, hands-on trainingThe responsibilities of the role will include:Design, develop, maintain, and support custom applications and configurations for corporate application systems and servicesLead complex development efforts for high-volume transaction processing and financial services applicationsManage and guide coding logic, including conducting and supporting code reviewsWork independently on assigned development, enhancement, support, and maintenance tasksAnalyze user requirements and translate them into application designs, system modifications, and technical solutionsPlan, investigate, and propose systems and application solutions to support business needsPrepare workflows and technical documentation for writing, testing, and maintaining computer programsEncode, test, debug, and install programs and procedures in coordination with Operations and Infrastructure teamsCorrect, test, and document changes to existing programs and production applicationsSupport existing applications by troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and implementing enhancementsCommunicate effectively with Product Management, Project Management, Operations, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders during application design and deliveryConduct training, walkthroughs, and presentations for users, stakeholders, and technical teams as neededLead or mentor small development teams on complex application development initiativesQualifications & Skills:4+ years of hands on application development experienceBachelor's degree or professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experienceExperience supporting business-critical applications in a high-volume transaction processing or financial services environmentStrong ability to work independently and partner closely with business and technical teamsAgile project management or Agile software development experienceMust-Have Technical Skills:COBOLCICSJCLSQLDB2IBM Mainframe environmentTSO / ISPFPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge or experience with MQ Series, EXCI, XML, SCLM, IBM Debug, MicroFocus Revolve, or TivoliHands-on experience with object-oriented languages or frameworks such as Java, C#, JEE, or.NETExperience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or OracleExposure to web technologies such as HTML or JavaScriptExperience with integrated development environments such as RDz, Eclipse, or Microsoft Visual StudioAdvanced degree such as an MBA or MSSelf-motivated with an interest in working closely with the business to support transaction processing and financial services applicationsInterest in software development and production support within a high-volume business systems environmentPay Transparency:The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 – $135,000, based on the candidate's work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
