Industrial Security Specialist

Corvid's Security Team is adding an Industrial Security Specialist to support the organization's growth in Mooresville, NC. This position will support a healthy security posture by assisting the Facility Security Officer (FSO), AFSO, and the entire security team with daily implementation and execution of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Candidate will be a direct contact for internal customers, helping provide guidance in support of program specific security requirements as well as working with individual employees on obtaining and maintaining their clearance (training and relevant reporting requirements). The successful candidate will help Corvid staff efficiently execute technical programs while maintaining a strong security posture. Responsibilities Process personnel security actions including visit requests, access requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, and clearance verification activities Support access control operations, visitor management, and specific program security administrative functions Support program specific CAC Processing and related processes Support document accountability and the proper safeguarding, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified material Conduct security briefings and provide guidance to employees regarding security policies, procedures, and reporting requirements Minimum Qualifications Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and maintain) an Active Secret clearance Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position (experience my substitute for Degree) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of DOD tools (e.g. DISS, NBIS, eQIP, Access Commander and NISS) About Corvid Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in using high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers.
