- Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, delivering support and intervention techniques that prioritize safety and emotional stabilization. \n
- Educate patients about the critical connections between mental health and physical wellness, empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their health effectively. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards while documenting treatment progress and changes in patient status. \n
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and interdisciplinary care planning processes to continually refine treatment strategies. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and developments in the field of integrated mental health care, applying this knowledge to enhance patient therapy. \n
You will work primarily with individuals who have complex mental health needs, many of whom also contend with co-occurring medical conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from those dealing with anxiety and depression to those suffering from the effects of chronic illnesses such as diabetes or heart disease, necessitating a nuanced and empathetic approach to care.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program. \n
- Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State. \n
- Demonstrated experience in addressing the intricate mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring physical and mental health conditions. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients and collaboration with team members. \n
- Strong adherence to professional boundaries and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and trust. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to document care effectively. \n
