About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Slumberland Furniture as a Sales Associate! In this exciting role, you will help customers find their perfect home furnishings while showcasing your passion for exceptional service and style.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist in visual merchandising to highlight promotional items and new arrivals.
- Stay knowledgeable about product features, benefits, and current promotions.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Passion for home furnishings and a keen eye for design trends.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales and managing inventory.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
