Truck Driver - Class A CDL

Evo Logistics is seeking dedicated and safety-focused Truck Drivers with a Class A CDL to join our team. As a key part of our logistics operation, you will play an essential role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of seafood and produce to our warehouse and customer locations within a 130-mile radius. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to complete local deliveries and pickups within a 130-mile radius.
• Follow assigned route schedules and obtain proper authorization for all deliveries and pickups.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading products as needed, including handling freight up to 75 pounds.
• Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation (DOT) checklists and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
• Fuel vehicles as required and report any accidents or incidents to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure efficient operations.
• Use a forklift as needed for loading and unloading.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of required safety gear such as safety vests and steel-toe or slip-resistant boots.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• At least 2 years of experience operating trucks requiring a Class A CDL.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum age of 22 years.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including inclement weather and noisy conditions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Background in warehouse operations, logistics, or delivery is preferred.
• Experience with seafood and produce is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Appropriate safety gear must be used at all times.

Compensation

$28.00 – $30.00 per hour
