Sr. Warehouse Specialist

Warehouse And Inventory SpecialistIndependently performs and leads all warehouse and inventory functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant material handling. Maintains adequate on-hand inventory levels, processes inventory issues, returns, and adjustments. Orders, receives, stocks, and transacts all materials entering and leaving the warehouse. Documents, prepares, sends and receives equipment for returns and repairs. Performs monthly cycle counts and full inventory counts, and reconciles inventory variances. Communicates with vendors for pricing and availability and ensure materials are available to support the business. Mentors and trains other warehouse specialists. Demonstrate leadership attributes/capabilities and acts as site team lead. This role will primarily support our warehouse in Edinburg. Travel to other warehouse locations within 2 hours may be required up to 3 days per week.Qualification Requirements:• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.• Experience Level: 5-7 years of warehouse experience is required.Job Skills & Knowledge:Skill Requirements:• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).• Demonstrates Leadership attributes/capabilities.• Demonstrated strong drive for results (very strong self-starter).• Strong communication and project management skills.• Higher level ERP (Oracle or other) understanding/knowledge.Certifications:• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.Other Requirements:• Travel Requirements: This position requires a valid driver's license for regular daytime travel.• Strength Level: This is heavy work.• Climbing Requirements: This position requires climbing up to 10 feet via ladder.• Tool-Using Requirements: This position is tool-using.Shentel provides a drug-free workplace and is an EEO employer.
